Welcome to Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, Beta Nu Omega’s chapter website. We are excited to have you visit with us. Beta Nu Omega has been a pillar of service in Montgomery, Alabama and the surrounding counties since 1936.    

Beta Nu Omega is located at 5907 Carmichael Place, Montgomery Al 36117. We are proud to be a part of the rich history here in the birthplace of the Civil Rights Movement. Our mission of service to all mankind is evident through our strong local partnerships with faith-based communities, community outreach entities, and nonprofit organizations with similar missions to use our collective resources to promote positive long-term change.

Beta Nu Omega Chapter functions at the local level under the leadership of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, Corporate standards led by our International President & CEO Ms. Danette Anthony Reed. Ms. Reed’s theme for her administrative term is “Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood” with the foundational initiative being “Strengthen our Sisterhood”. The remaining five program initiatives are:

Build Our Economic Wealth
Enhance Our Environment
Advocate for Social Justice
Uplift Our Local Community

Beta Nu Omega has direct oversight and mentorship responsibilities for three undergraduate chapters in Montgomery Alabama:

Alabama State University (Beta Pi)

Auburn University Montgomery (Nu Xi)

Huntington College (Rho Chi)
